**Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 22 point to a minimum temperature in the mid-60s, aligning with the market's heaviest trading on the 66-67°F bin (37%) followed by 64-65°F (26.5%).** Persistent marine layer influence, typical for coastal Southern California in mid-September, is expected to moderate overnight cooling with patchy fog and low clouds limiting radiative heat loss. Current forecasts from multiple sources converge on lows of 64–67°F under light southwest winds and near-normal humidity, consistent with the recent climatological average low of ~63°F and the stable pattern observed over the prior week. No incoming troughs or offshore flow are projected to alter this range before Tuesday night, keeping higher or sub-62°F outcomes at low implied probabilities. Updated model runs and morning observations on September 21 will provide the next key data point for traders.
