Official National Weather Service forecasts for New York City on September 3 project a daytime high in the mid-80s under a warm, humid air mass with southwest flow, mostly cloudy skies, and scattered showers that are unlikely to suppress maximum temperatures. Model guidance and recent observations support this range, consistent with the market's leading 84-85°F (35.5%) and 86-87°F (20.5%) bins, while cooler or hotter extremes remain low-probability outcomes. These conditions represent above-normal readings relative to the early-September climatological average near 80°F, with limited model spread reinforcing trader positioning ahead of final observations.
