Current National Weather Service forecasts point to an overnight low near 55°F for Denver on September 15 under scattered thunderstorms and a moderating northerly flow, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 52–55°F bins. Key differentiators include cloud cover and precipitation timing, which limit radiational cooling, versus clearer intervals that could allow temperatures to dip toward the mid-40s if dew points fall and winds remain light. Model consensus from recent GFS and ECMWF runs shows limited spread in minimum temperatures, though small shifts in frontal timing or moisture could alter outcomes. Historical September 15 lows average 49.6°F, providing context for the elevated trader-implied probabilities near 52–53°F. Final forecast updates before local midnight will likely refine these odds.
