The Baja California Sur 2027 gubernatorial race remains highly fragmented in its early pre-campaign phase, with official registration opening only in September 2026 and major parties still finalizing internal selections. Morena leads aggregate party preferences near 39-41 percent, but its six-plus registered aspirants—including Milena Quiroga Romero, Christian Agúndez Gómez, José Saúl González Núñez, and others—split support without a dominant figure, while PAN contender Susana Zataraín García and additional opposition names sit in a comparable range. This keeps implied probabilities clustered tightly because voter intentions have not yet consolidated around individuals, nominations are unresolved, and no candidate-specific polling or formal campaigns have crystallized preferences. Separation could emerge once Morena completes its coordination process, parties announce nominees, or early surveys test head-to-head matchups ahead of the general election.
