Recent National Weather Service and model guidance for Los Angeles on September 14 points to a daytime high in the upper 70s to low 80s, driven by persistent onshore flow and a typical marine layer that produces morning low clouds or patchy fog before southwest winds clear skies by afternoon. Ensemble forecasts and local climatology place the most likely peak near 78–80°F, consistent with the September average high of 76°F and the absence of strong offshore winds or anomalous warming. Trader consensus reflected in the leading 78–79°F (44.5%) and 80–81°F (27%) bins aligns with this range, while lower-probability outcomes capture remaining model spread and potential for slightly cooler or warmer boundary-layer conditions. Updated forecast discussions and afternoon observations will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
