Latest National Weather Service guidance and short-range model consensus point to partly cloudy skies and a moderate onshore southwest flow for San Francisco on September 2, supporting daytime highs near 68°F with limited inland warming. Persistent marine-layer influence and typical early-September climatology (historical average high ~70°F) keep extreme outliers improbable, while subtle differences in cloud timing and boundary-layer mixing explain the tight clustering of market-implied odds between 68–73°F. Updated model runs and any shifts in low-level winds remain the key near-term catalysts for price movement before resolution.
