Trader sentiment for Seattle's September 12 high temperature centers on National Weather Service and model consensus projecting a high in the mid-to-upper 60s under persistent cloud cover, light onshore flow, and a slight afternoon rain chance that limits solar heating. These conditions align with the closely matched leading bins of 66-67°F and 68-69°F, reflecting subtle differences in forecast timing of any partial clearing or shower intensity. The outlook sits below the 1991-2020 average high of 71°F due to marine influence, with traders weighing recent model runs showing highs from 66-68°F. Key resolution hinges on the final observed maximum at official stations, with updated NWS guidance expected overnight and morning of the 12th introducing minor shifts.
