Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies currently project Seattle's overnight low on September 4 near 53–55°F, aligning with the market's tight clustering around the 52–55°F buckets. Marine air advection, light winds, and variable cloud cover from recent showers limit radiational cooling, keeping temperatures near the early-September climatological average of 54.9°F. Model spread in timing and intensity of any clearing introduces uncertainty between the 50–51°F and 52–53°F ranges, while historical analogs show lows below 50°F remain uncommon this early in the month absent stronger high-pressure building. Traders will monitor updated NWS point forecasts and ensemble runs through September 3 for any shifts in the expected minimum.
