Key drivers include a relatively stable high-pressure ridge promoting mostly clear to partly cloudy skies, modest warm-air advection from the southwest, and light winds that limit mixing and overnight cooling. Uncertainty arises from potential afternoon convective development or slight shifts in the steering flow, which could add or subtract 1–2°C depending on cloud timing and boundary-layer moisture. Ensemble spreads remain modest at this short range, supporting the market’s low probabilities above 27°C while leaving room for small revisions from the next model cycles before resolution.
