Marília Arraes (PDT) holds a strong position as the frontrunner for first place in Pernambuco’s 2026 Senate race, backed by consistent polling leads of 19–29% across surveys from Real Time Big Data, Quaest, and Datafolha released between April and mid-August 2026. Voters select two senators, and her support as part of the broader PSB-aligned ticket with gubernatorial candidate João Campos has consolidated backing in key regions, outpacing Humberto Costa (PT) and Mendonça Filho (PL), who trail in the 12–20% range for the second spot. Recent candidate announcements, including Arraes naming substitutes to strengthen regional alliances, have reinforced her momentum without notable shifts from rivals. Trader consensus reflects these polling trends and the absence of major late developments that could alter the hierarchy ahead of the October election.
