Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in Roraima for first-round votes in Brazil’s October 2026 presidential election, driven by the state’s consistent conservative leanings and strong alignment with Liberal Party priorities on agribusiness, infrastructure, and reduced federal environmental oversight. Recent local results bolster this position, including the PL’s decisive win in Roraima’s supplemental gubernatorial contest and sustained polling margins of 52-62% versus single-digit or low-teens support for competitors like Lula. Campaign visits emphasizing energy integration and development have reinforced ties with key voter blocs. Late shifts could arise from national scandals, turnout surges among opposition supporters, or unforeseen party realignments, though current evidence points to structural advantages that have kept other candidates far behind in state-level surveys.
