Tsai Yi-yu holds an 86% implied probability as the Chiayi County Magistrate winner, reflecting trader consensus on his status as the Democratic Progressive Party nominee following a decisive January 2026 primary victory. This outcome stems from his established legislative record representing the county and the party's organizational strength ahead of the November 28, 2026, local elections. Wu Pin-jui trails at roughly 10%, consistent with opposition party positioning in the race, while Tsai Sung-yi registers negligible support. With the contest still months away, factors such as candidate registration deadlines, potential cross-party coordination, and voter turnout patterns in Chiayi could influence final margins, though no major shifts have emerged in recent weeks.
