**Forecast models for Manila on September 11 point to a daytime high near 29–31°C, driven by persistent southwest monsoon activity that brings widespread cloud cover, scattered showers, and thunderstorms.** These conditions limit solar heating and keep temperatures below the September climatological average of roughly 31–32°C. Recent PAGASA updates and short-range guidance from sources such as WeatherBug and AccuWeather show highs in the 28–30°C range amid high humidity and light winds, reducing the chance of brief clear spells that could push readings higher. Trader consensus reflected in the market—37.5% on 30°C and 25.5% on 31°C—aligns with this outlook, while lower probabilities on 32°C or above acknowledge the slim potential for reduced rainfall allowing stronger afternoon heating. Updated model runs and any shifts in monsoon strength over the next 48 hours remain the key variables that could adjust these implied probabilities.
