Persistent easterly flow and scattered thunderstorms forecast for September 18 are capping Miami's daytime heating, with official NWS guidance and multiple models converging on a high near 85–87°F amid 60–80% rain chances that limit solar insolation. High humidity and cloud cover further suppress maxima below the 89°F seasonal average, though brief clearing could allow brief spikes into the upper 80s. The broad probability distribution across 84–91°F reflects uncertainty in exact storm timing and coverage, with traders weighting recent model runs showing consistent onshore moisture advection. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon observations will refine these estimates ahead of market resolution.
