**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate the overnight low for Houston on September 18 will likely fall in the upper 70s, with consensus pointing to 77–79°F under mostly clear skies and light southeast winds.** Persistent Gulf moisture and the absence of any frontal passage are maintaining a warm, humid air mass typical for mid-September, limiting radiative cooling despite sunny daytime conditions and highs near 93–95°F. Recent model runs show minimal spread, with no significant revisions expected before resolution, aligning trader consensus on the 78–79°F and 76–77°F bins as the strongest implied probabilities. Historical September lows average around 73°F, but the current pattern favors milder readings.
