Official India Meteorological Department forecasts for Lucknow on September 13 project a daytime high of 33°C under partly cloudy skies with a chance of thundershowers, aligning with the market's strong 65.5% implied probability for that exact outcome. Monsoon-season humidity, easterly winds, and persistent cloud cover typically cap peak readings in the low 30s Celsius during this period, consistent with historical September averages near 33–34°C. Recent model runs show limited upside potential for 34°C (20.5% odds) only if breaks in cloud cover allow brief intensification, while downside risks to 32°C remain lower given observed trends. Traders are pricing in the consensus forecast while noting typical forecast uncertainty from convective activity.
