Recent observational data from Los Angeles International Airport and downtown stations indicate overnight lows in the mid-to-upper 60s°F on September 16, 2026, aligning with typical marine layer influence and seasonal norms near 64°F. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 66-69°F outcomes due to model consensus on clear skies, light onshore flow, and absence of strong cooling or warming signals from Pacific high pressure. The 57°F-or-below bucket retains notable implied probability from historical variability in coastal fog depth and radiational cooling potential, though current conditions favor moderation. Upcoming NWS preliminary climatological reports will clarify exact minimums for resolution.
