Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus indicate a high near 87°F for Los Angeles on September 10, following a brief heat wave fueled by offshore flow and moisture from Hurricane Marie remnants that peaked midweek with readings in the low-to-mid 90s. Onshore marine influence and clearer skies are expected to moderate temperatures Thursday, aligning with the 86–89°F range that holds the highest implied probabilities. Historical September averages near 76–77°F and the rapid post-heat-wave cooldown further support trader focus on this narrow band, with limited upside risk from lingering warmth or model shifts before resolution.
