Recent forecast model runs for Seattle show overnight lows on September 10 centered near the historical average of 54°F, with official guidance from the National Weather Service and ensembles indicating 54–59°F under partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies. A weak system approaching from the north is expected to increase cloud cover and light northerly winds, which limit radiative cooling and support the middle bin probabilities. Marine air influence from Puget Sound adds further moderation. The near-even split between the coldest and warmest tails reflects lingering divergence among models on exact cloud timing and boundary-layer moisture, with new NWS and ensemble updates likely to narrow the range before resolution.
