Recent National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Miami point to overnight lows in the upper 70s on September 22, driving the market's tight clustering around 74–79°F outcomes. High dew points near 76–78°F combined with scattered thunderstorms and variable southerly winds limit radiative cooling overnight, while persistent cloud cover further moderates temperature drops. These conditions align closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 76.6°F for the date. Model consensus remains firm, yet minor spreads in convection timing or boundary-layer moisture could shift the minimum by a degree or two. Fresh model runs and updated NWS guidance over the next 48 hours will provide the clearest signals for resolution.
