**Trader consensus favors 96-97°F as the highest temperature in Houston on September 22, with 51.5% implied probability edging out 94-95°F at 42.5%.** Persistent high pressure and mostly sunny skies under light northerly to northeasterly winds support strong daytime heating, consistent with recent mid- to upper-90s readings and National Weather Service guidance calling for a high near 95°F. Minor differences between the leading bins hinge on precise peak timing, any late-day sea-breeze moderation, or subtle model spreads in boundary-layer mixing. Official airport observations (e.g., KIAH or Hobby) will resolve the market once the calendar day ends, with heat indices projected above 105°F underscoring the underlying warmth.
