**Northeast winds and persistent cloud cover from an incoming frontal system are anchoring trader sentiment around a 63–65°F high for New York City on September 22.** National Weather Service and multiple model runs project a daytime maximum near 63–64°F under overcast skies, with northeast flow at 10–15 mph and a 50–65% chance of light rain or showers limiting diurnal heating. Recent observations show the region under cooler maritime air following earlier showers, keeping temperatures well below seasonal normals near 75°F. Model consensus remains tight with minimal spread, supporting the 48% market-implied probability on 64–65°F while leaving room for minor revisions if clearing occurs faster than expected. Updated NWS guidance and next model cycles will provide the key data points before resolution.
