PQ maintains a consistent lead in recent provincial polling aggregates, including Leger and Pallas Data surveys from early-to-mid August 2026 showing roughly 30-31% support, ahead of the PLQ at 24-27% and CAQ at 13-20%. This edge among francophone voters, combined with seat projections from models such as 338Canada that favor a PQ majority, underpins the 74.5% implied probability. The scheduled October 5 election date and the incumbent CAQ’s sharp decline from prior levels have further consolidated trader views, while PLQ competitiveness in some riding-level estimates keeps its odds at 14%. Minor parties remain marginal in both polls and market pricing.
