Recent opinion polls for Sweden’s 13 September parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet (V) holding a modest lead over Kristdemokraterna (KD) in voting intentions, with V typically at 7–9 percent and KD at 4–7 percent across Novus, SCB, and other surveys from May through July 2026. This consistent differential underpins the 60.5 percent trader consensus favoring V to receive more votes. The broader centre-left opposition bloc continues to lead the governing Tidö alliance in most aggregates, though KD has posted occasional gains in August measurements while Liberals remain below the four-percent threshold. With advance voting underway and limited major campaign shifts in the final weeks, polling differentials and turnout patterns among left-leaning voters remain the primary factors shaping current market pricing.
