Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance points to a high of 72–73°F in Seattle on September 1 under partly sunny skies with light southerly flow, keeping the market’s leading 72–73°F bin narrowly ahead. Marine-layer moderation and the transition to a cooler, moister Pacific pattern are capping daytime warming near long-term normals of 74°F, while minor variations in cloud cover and boundary-layer mixing explain the tight clustering of 70–71°F and 74–75°F probabilities. Forecasters note limited model spread and the absence of strong offshore flow that could push readings higher, leaving traders focused on the final 24-hour forecast adjustments and real-time observations at Sea-Tac.
