Recent Swedish polling averages place Centerpartiet (C) narrowly ahead of or competitive with Kristdemokraterna (KD) ahead of the 13 September Riksdag election, consistent with C’s 6.7% versus KD’s 5.3% result in 2022. Latest surveys show both parties in the 6–7.5% range, with C at 7.3% and KD at 7.5% in one early-August Novus poll and C holding modest edges in several prior readings. C draws primarily from centrist and liberal voters while KD appeals to conservative and Christian-democratic segments of the Tidö bloc; neither has recorded major shifts from official statements, legislative actions, or scandals in the past month that would materially alter this narrow gap. Trader consensus at 65% for C reflects these small but persistent polling differentials rather than decisive momentum for either party.
