Recent polling averages place the Social Democrats first near 32 percent, Sweden Democrats second around 20 percent, and the Moderate Party third near 17 percent ahead of the 13 September 2026 parliamentary election. This ordering has held steady across multiple surveys through July, reflecting limited movement in voter preferences between the governing Tidö parties and the centre-left opposition bloc. With roughly five weeks remaining, traders view the Moderate Party's consistent third-place standing as the dominant outcome, while the Sweden Democrats' slim chance of slipping to third rests on any late narrowing of their lead over the Moderates. Smaller parties remain well behind in all aggregates, producing the observed market distribution.
