**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate a highest temperature in the upper 60s to low 70s on August 30, driven primarily by persistent onshore marine flow and lingering cloud cover after Saturday showers.** This setup limits solar insolation and daytime heating while maintaining a stable boundary layer over the Puget Sound region. Light southerly winds and residual moisture further suppress warming relative to the climatological average high near 75°F. Afternoon partial clearing could allow brief rises toward 72°F, but widespread sunshine appears unlikely. Trader sentiment, reflected in the closely matched probabilities for 68–71°F ranges, aligns with this model consensus and the historical rarity of exceeding 72°F under similar late-summer marine conditions. Updated NWS briefings and mesoscale model runs tonight will provide the final data ahead of market resolution.
