Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in trader expectations for second place in Brazil’s October 2026 presidential first round. As the Liberal Party nominee endorsed by his imprisoned father Jair Bolsonaro, he consolidates right-wing support against incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of the Workers’ Party. Recent Quaest polling shows Lula at 39 percent and Flávio at 33 percent, with all other declared candidates—including Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and Renan Santos—remaining in low single digits. This positioning reflects sustained consolidation of conservative voters behind the Bolsonaro name ahead of the first-round vote on October 4.
