Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models project a daily high near 101–102°F for Dallas on August 29 under persistent high pressure, clear skies, and light southeast winds that favor strong daytime heating. These conditions align with late-summer climatology for north Texas, where minimal cloud cover and dry air allow efficient solar insolation without significant mixing or moisture influx. Recent model runs and NWS point forecasts issued August 28 show tight consensus around this range, with little expected variability from steering patterns or diurnal effects. Trader positioning reflects this narrow uncertainty band, assigning the highest implied probabilities to 100–103°F outcomes while discounting extremes outside verified forecast guidance.
