Official National Weather Service and private forecasts for Miami on August 28, 2026, project a high near 90°F under mostly sunny skies with southeast winds of 5–10 mph and a 30–50% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, aligning with the long-term average high of 90.4°F. High humidity and heat indices near 106°F support potential for brief exceedances, while storm timing and sea-breeze effects introduce downward variability. Recent model consensus and the post-peak cooling after early-August extremes (including the 100°F record on August 18) reinforce the narrow 90–93°F band as the dominant range, with traders assigning the highest implied probability to 92–93°F due to observed urban heat retention and minor forecast uncertainty around convective timing.
