In the fragmented 2026 Roraima Senate race for Brazil's two seats, trader consensus on second place remains tightly clustered among more than a dozen candidates because no single contender has established a dominant coalition or polling lead this early. Recent party conventions in early August finalized nominations, including Teresa Surita for MDB, multiple PL names tied to Bolsonaro family networks, PSOL's Mário Rocha and Bartô Macuxi, and others from PSB, PSD, and União Brasil. This broad field, combined with ongoing alliance negotiations and the absence of decisive statewide surveys, sustains even probabilities near 20-25% for top listed options. Separation could emerge from late endorsements, primary vote concentration in key municipalities, or shifts in turnout patterns ahead of October balloting.
