Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the upper 60s for Chicago on September 15, driven by a warm, humid southerly flow ahead of a frontal system, with dew points near 65°F and a 60-70% chance of showers and thunderstorms limiting radiational cooling. Trader consensus clusters on 66-69°F bins because ensemble runs show limited overnight drop despite breezy conditions, while the 27% implied probability on 59°F or below reflects historical September averages near 59°F and potential for faster clearing. Key variables include exact timing of any rain and wind shifts that could alter minimum readings before resolution.
