**Forecast models from NOAA and local meteorological services indicate a typical early-September marine layer influence over Los Angeles, with overnight lows expected in the lower to mid-60s Fahrenheit for September 2.** Clear skies and light southwest winds promote radiational cooling after sunset, while the Pacific Ocean moderates extremes, keeping minimum temperatures near the 1991–2020 climatological average of 64.7°F. Recent model runs show limited spread due to stable high-pressure patterns, though minor variations in cloud cover or wind could shift the exact low by a few degrees. Trader consensus around 50% implied probability for bins from the upper 50s through low 70s reflects this narrow uncertainty range, with very low odds on outliers below 56°F or above 72°F consistent with historical records and current guidance.
