Current market odds reflect trader assessment of National Weather Service observations and model guidance for New York City on September 13, with the leading 70-71°F and 72-73°F bins capturing the bulk of probability. Mid-September climatology for the region features daytime highs near 75°F and overnight lows typically in the mid-60s, but recent atmospheric conditions—including a persistent warm air mass and limited nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy skies—support minimum readings in the upper 60s to low 70s at official stations such as Central Park. Urban heat island effects and light southerly flow further moderate temperature drops, while ensemble forecasts show narrow spread around these values. Resolution hinges on the verified daily minimum reported by NOAA, with final data expected shortly after midnight local time.
