The tight race for first place in Acre’s 2026 Senate election stems from a cluster of experienced contenders—sitting Senator Márcio Bittar (PL), former Governor Gladson Cameli (PP), and Mara Rocha (Republicanos)—who remain locked in technical ties across recent AtlasIntel and other surveys, each drawing 18-21% in stimulated scenarios. Name recognition, established regional bases, and shifting party alliances keep probabilities compressed, while the state’s two-seat system spreads support among additional names such as Jorge Viana and Petecão. With the October vote still weeks away, late campaign momentum, endorsements, or turnout shifts among key voter blocs could widen gaps before ballots close.
