The tightly clustered probabilities around 40-50% for leading contenders in Acre's Senate race reflect a fragmented field of eight registered candidates competing for two seats in the October 4 election, following the close of filings on August 15. Incumbents Sérgio Petecão and Márcio Bittar anchor one side, while former Governor Gladson Cameli, Jorge Viana, and others including Eduardo Velloso and Mara Rocha add layers of competition without a dominant second-place frontrunner. This setup sustains trader uncertainty, as vote splitting and regional dynamics in the single-round contest could shift quickly with initial polling, party alliances, or campaign momentum in the weeks ahead.
