Current National Weather Service forecasts for coastal Los Angeles stations point to a high near 79°F on August 11, with marine layer clouds and onshore flow limiting daytime heating after earlier August heat. Trader consensus around 76–79°F reflects model agreement on persistent southwesterly winds advecting cooler Pacific air, typical post-heatwave stabilization, and the absence of strong offshore flow or upper-level ridging that would push readings into the low 80s. Historical August coastal averages near 78–82°F provide context, while any last-minute shift in low-level moisture or wind direction could nudge the outcome by 1–2°F within the narrow leading bins.
