Recent polls from Ideia, Quaest, and American Analytics show a fragmented field for São Paulo’s two Senate seats, with Marina Silva, Simone Tebet, Guilherme Derrite, André do Prado, and Ricardo Salles clustered within the margin of error in first- and second-vote scenarios. This multi-candidate contest, featuring left-leaning and center-right names, produces fluid rankings where small shifts in voter preference can reorder the top two. High undecided shares and the mechanics of electing two senators simultaneously keep second-place positioning especially uncertain, as traders price the absence of a clear frontrunner or decisive late movement.
