Republican incumbent Bob Onder's reelection campaign in Missouri's 3rd Congressional District, rated Solid Republican by Cook Political Report with an R+13 partisan voting index, anchors trader consensus at 91% for a GOP hold. Onder, who won 61% in the 2024 general election after a competitive primary, recently secured President Trump's endorsement amid early 2026 candidate filings that feature weak Democratic contenders like 2024 nominee Bethany Mann. The district backed Trump 58-40 last cycle, underscoring its safe Republican status absent national Democratic waves. Scenarios to shift odds include a disruptive GOP primary on August 4, Onder scandal, or high-profile Democratic recruit boosting turnout in St. Louis exurbs.
