Recent forecast model consensus from sources including the Met Office and regional meteorological services points to a peak temperature of 30–31°C in Tel Aviv on September 20, driven by stable high-pressure conditions, light northwesterly winds, and mostly clear skies limiting daytime heating. These conditions align with typical late-September climatology for the coastal plain, where afternoon highs average near 29°C but can reach the low 30s under minimal cloud cover. Latest model runs show little spread, with minimal risk of stronger onshore flow or marine layer development that would cap temperatures below 30°C or push them to 32°C or higher. Market-implied odds heavily favor 31°C as the resolution outcome, reflecting traders’ assessment of this narrow forecast range ahead of final observational data.
