The Sergipe Senate contest for two seats features a crowded field of more than ten candidates, with recent party officializations in July and early August 2026 leaving second-place positioning fluid among half a dozen contenders. Polling from May through mid-August shows narrow spreads, with figures such as André Moura, Eduardo Amorim, Delegado André David, Rodrigo Valadares, Rogério Carvalho, and Delegado Alessandro clustered in the low-to-mid teens, reflecting limited name recognition consolidation and voter indecision ahead of the October vote. Trader pricing near 45-50% for numerous outcomes captures this uncertainty, where small shifts in turnout among key regional blocs, last-minute alliances, or stronger debate performances could reorder the ranking without altering the top slot. Upcoming campaign intensification and any fresh survey releases within the next month stand as the primary near-term catalysts.
