Recent forecasts from agencies including the Met Office indicate a high near 39°C for Jeddah on September 4 under clear skies, northwest winds of 10–15 mph, and typical late-summer humidity levels around 40–50%, positioning 38°C and 39°C as the leading market outcomes with combined implied probability exceeding 70%. These temperatures align with climatological norms for the Red Sea coast in early September, where strong solar heating and minimal cloud cover drive daytime maxima in the upper 30s°C. Model runs show limited spread but note that slight shifts in wind speed or boundary-layer moisture could alter the peak by 1–2°C. No significant weather systems are expected to disrupt the pattern before resolution.
