Current forecasts from global models and the Meteorological Service Singapore point to a minimum temperature near 27–28°C on September 14, supporting the leading 28°C market-implied odds amid typical southwest monsoon conditions. Persistent southeasterly flow, moderate humidity near 75–85%, and scattered convective showers limit nighttime radiative cooling, keeping lows above the September climatological average of 25.2°C at Changi. Model runs show modest spread due to variable cloud cover and potential Sumatra squalls, which could allow brief drops toward 26°C or sustain values near 28°C depending on timing of precipitation. Traders appear to weigh this narrow range against historical September minima and the absence of strong cooling signals, with fresh official updates expected overnight to refine resolution thresholds.
