Dry southwest monsoon conditions and below-average rainfall have kept Singapore's overnight lows elevated on September 9, 2026, with official forecasts from the Meteorological Service Singapore indicating minimum temperatures remaining above 27°C amid warm, humid nights and limited radiative cooling. Current observations and model guidance show diurnal ranges compressed around 27–29°C, consistent with the market-implied odds favoring 28°C (68%) or 27°C (45.5%) as the daily low while assigning minimal probability to 26°C or cooler outcomes. Persistent haze from regional fires and southeasterly winds further suppress temperature drops, aligning with historical September baselines of 25.2°C averages but shifted warmer under prevailing dryness.
