Recent forecasts from Taiwan's Central Weather Administration and global models indicate Taipei's September 21 overnight low will settle near 23–24°C under clear to partly cloudy skies with light easterly winds and high humidity. These conditions favor moderate radiative cooling typical of late-summer subtropical nights, where urban heat and moisture limit further drops. Historical September averages hover around 24°C, providing a stable baseline. The tight 50% market-implied odds between 23°C and 24°C reflect this narrow expected range and minor model differences in timing of any cloud increases or dew-point shifts. The 45% odds on 18°C or below highlight residual uncertainty from potential forecast revisions, though current data show no approaching fronts or systems that would produce such cooling.
