Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Max and related models have posted top-tier Elo scores on the Code Arena WebDev leaderboard, placing the lab in a strong position for third overall behind Anthropic's Claude family and Moonshot's Kimi K3. Recent arena snapshots show Alibaba models achieving 1660+ scores on agentic front-end tasks, reflecting advances in multi-step reasoning and tool use that have narrowed gaps with U.S. leaders while outperforming most other labs in consistent head-to-head voting. This positioning underpins the 74.5% market-implied probability for Alibaba as third-best by month-end, with limited time remaining for major shifts before resolution. Other labs trail due to lower vote volume and scores, though ongoing model updates could still influence final rankings.

Results from the "Lab Rank" column under the "Code Arena | WebDev" Leaderboard tab at https://arena.ai/leaderboard/code/webdev?rankBy=labs (Overall) filtered for "Labs" will be used to resolve this market.
