Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13, 2026, parliamentary election show Kristdemokraterna (KD) holding a modest edge over Miljöpartiet (MP) in projected vote shares, with the latest Demoskop survey placing KD at 7.5% and MP at 6.6%. Earlier Novus and Indikator readings from June and July similarly positioned the two parties within a narrow range, reflecting stable but low single-digit support amid a broader contest between the centre-left Red-Green bloc and the incumbent Tidö alliance. KD, as a governing partner, benefits from coalition visibility on family and social policy, while MP focuses on environmental priorities within the opposition. These patterns underpin trader assessments of KD's probability of outpolling MP on election day.
