Forecast models and National Weather Service guidance point to a high near 90°F in Atlanta on September 13 under mostly sunny skies with light northwest winds and only a slight afternoon storm chance, placing the outcome squarely in the 90-91°F range that dominates trader positioning. This exceeds the 1991-2020 average high of 84.2°F for the date, driven by drier air and subsidence following Saturday’s storms. Heat-index values could approach 100°F during peak heating, though actual air temperature remains the resolution metric. Ensemble consensus shows limited spread, with minimal risk of exceeding 92°F or falling to the upper 80s, supporting the current market distribution ahead of final observations.
