Recent forecast models from sources including the Met Office and GFS ensembles indicate a maximum temperature of 31–34°C in Madrid on September 13 under clear skies, light southeasterly winds, and stable high pressure near 713 hPa, with minimal precipitation risk. This places the market-implied odds of 33°C (54.5%) and 32°C (36.0%) in line with the consensus range, as September climatology shows average highs near 27°C but current conditions reflect a late-summer warming pattern. Model agreement on peak afternoon values, rather than any major shifts in steering or moisture, underpins trader positioning ahead of final observational data.
